New Voter Guide to Help You Vote on July 20
Not
sure which Democrats to vote for in the Primary Election this Tuesday,
July 20? The Democratic Women of Davidson County has produced a
Voter Guide to help you decide among the candidates for County Commissioner.
The two-page guide, available at http://www.davidsoncountydemocrats.org,
includes answers to six questions posed by the Democratic Women
to the six Democratic candidates in the race. Five candidates--Alton
Futrell, Harley "Red" Gaultney, Loretta Martin, Charles
Mode, and James Robbins--replied to our survey. We don't tell you
how to vote, but we do hope the Voter Guide helps you decide which
candidates will best represent your interests.
Polls
will be open on Tuesday from 6:30 am to 7:30 pm. If you don't know
your polling place, check our list at http://www.davidsoncountydemocrats.org
under "Voting." If you can't make it to the polls on Tuesday,
vote early! You can vote at the Board of Elections in Lexington
through Saturday, July 17 at 1:00 p.m.
2.
Election Night Party in Lexington
Get
together with other Yellow Dog Democrats (i.e. the party faithful)
for our Election Night Party on Tuesday, July 20 to watch the results
come in. Join us at the Quality Inn at 418 Piedmont Drive in Lexington
